Pinterest + NectrHub
NectrHub supports Pinterest OAuth, Board discovery, Pinterest-ready content generation, review, scheduling, and verified publication when the workspace has configured credentials and the user authorizes a Pinterest account.
The workflow
- 1Connect PinterestAuthorize your own account through Pinterest’s OAuth page. NectrHub will never ask for your Pinterest password.
- 2Retrieve BoardsNectrHub retrieves authorized Boards so you can choose the real destination. Board IDs are not invented.
- 3Review every PinReview the image, title, description, link, keywords, and intended action before approval.
- 4Choose the destinationSelect the appropriate Pinterest Board available to your authorized account.
- 5Approve and publishIntentionally publish now or schedule only the Pins you selected and approved.
- 6Verify resultsNectrHub stores the returned Pin ID and URL only after Pinterest confirms the Pin record.
User control is required
NectrHub’s approval workflow is designed so users specifically choose and approve each Pin action. NectrHub will not advertise or provide review-free, unlimited automatic Pin publishing.
Authorization and data handling
Pinterest authorization uses Pinterest OAuth, a NectrHub callback, state validation, and a server-side code exchange. Credentials remain server-side. NectrHub stores only the connection, authorized account display information, authorized Board identifiers needed for scheduling, selected Pin content, publication jobs, and returned publication identifiers required to provide and verify the feature.
